30 for 30: Celebrating 30 Years of Virtuosi of Houston!

HELP US RAISE $30,000 TO CELEBRATE 30 YEARS OF VIRTUOSI OF HOUSTON! —–When Maestros Franz Anton Krager and Andrzej Grabiec founded Virtuosi of Houston in 1996, they wanted to create a chamber orchestra where each young musician would take on leadership and responsibility for their role in the orchestra, developing their confidence and the performance skills to move their musical ability to a higher level.

30 years later, Virtuosi of Houston is proud to count among its alumni hundreds of performers, educators, and arts advocates who give their expertise back to the community that helped develop them as young students. Virtuosi musicians attend and have graduated from some of the finest music education institutions in the country and abroad, such as Juilliard, New England Conservatory, Curtis, Eastman, Peabody, Northwestern, The Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands), The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, and Moores School of Music at the University of Houston.

Virtuosi provides the opportunity for every talented youth in the Houston area, regardless of race, religion, or income to receive the best education in the field of classical music so that they are competitive in their objective to be music professionals.
